LWL field connectors are specially designed for the quick and easy connection of fiber optics on site. For uncomplicated, quick repairs to existing installations and for new installations, e.g. for Fttx in-house cabling. The LC/APC LWL field connectors are used to connect fiber optic cables and for repairs in the event of service at various network levels. They make manual polishing of connector end faces or splicing on site completely unnecessary. The mechanical splicing technology ensures precise fiber alignment and offers immediate termination with low loss for optical single-mode fibers. The attenuation achieved does not exceed 0.3 dB. The connectors can be used in all optical networks in which a UPC connector is required. It is suitable for optical cabling in primary/secondary/tertiary cabling as well as for use in FTTx networks.
