The SC/UPC-LWL field connectors are used to connect fiber optic cables and for repairs in the event of service in various network levels. They completely eliminate the need for manual polishing of connector end faces or on-site splicing. Mechanical splicing technology ensures precise fiber alignment and provides instant, low-loss termination for single-mode optical fiber. The attenuation achieved does not exceed 0.3 dB. The connectors can be used in all optical networks where a UPC connector is required. It is suitable for optical cabling in primary/secondary/tertiary cabling as well as for use in FTTx networks.
