As soon as the cores of the Ethernet cable are exposed using a stripping tool and the shielding is laid aside and twisted, the individual cores are prepared for assembly.
After the cable core is positioned over the correct location on the insulation displacement terminal, the core can be pressed in with the lay-on tool - the protruding cable end is automatically cut off.
The procedure must be repeated until all 8 wires of a LAN cable are connected to the LSA strip of a patch field or a network socket.
With the help of the pull-out hook and the unlocking blade, you can remove already patched cable cores from the LSA strip if you have made a mistake.
