According to EN 60079-11, 2007 (VDE 0170-7), a minimum distance (thread dimension) of = 50 mm must be maintained between intrinsically safe and non-intrinsically safe circuits (connection parts, e.g. connection terminals)! Using the Ex i partition TW DRC MCM EX, this thread dimension is maintained even when the devices are directly connected to one another. Particularly suitable for use in conjunction with the DRC MCM XT for condition-oriented monitoring of BXT modules.
