Double-sided adhesive foam tape, a closed-cell polyethylene foam, coated on both sides with acrylic-based adhesive, equipped with release paper. Excellent resistance to pressure, easy to form, very good resistance to UV, aging, moisture, oils, solvents and plasticizers, strong immediate adhesion. Used for a wide range of heavy-duty installations, including vertical ones, indoors and outdoors instead of riveting, screwing and liquid adhesives, particularly good for bonding on inelastic materials with irregular, rough surfaces (wood, masonry, concrete, paint): surface mounting of cable ducts, cable clamps, switch boxes, attachment of badges, displays and signs, also made of and on plastic, shock-resistant and vibration-damped soft mounting of components (e.g. circuit boards, control panels, fittings), effective reduction of sound transmission (rattle protection), form-fitting seals against dust, water, steam, wind and light, also for closing air outlets to save energy.
