Anti-corrosion tapes, a particularly strong PVC film, coated on one side with non-corrosive, aggressive adhesive. Extremely durable PVC adhesive tapes with high abrasion resistance, UV resistance and water resistance (including salt water), resistant to alkalis and many acids, microorganisms, compatible with bitumen. As an external wrap for additional protection against wear and tear caused by abrasion, weather influences and corrosion, thereby extending the service life and reducing frequent maintenance work. Examples: As stone chipping, stepping and scratch protection for cables, pipes and connection points of cables and pipelines laid open and buried, corrosion protection for cables and lines laid open (e.g. on ships, in wet operations, in the chemical industry), excellent mechanical and corrosion protection for installation pipes and masts that are laid in the ground.
