Katimex® rope and cable connection stockings for quickly creating a force-fit connection between two cables or ropes. They are used where existing cables or ropes are to be replaced with new ones, e.g. replacing outdated underground cables, pulling new ropes into cranes. Hand-braided from galvanized steel wire strands, average braid length 1200 mm. Cable diameter 8-16 mm, practical breaking load 15 kN, max. laying tensile force 7.5 kN.
