Insulating overshoes for electrical work under voltage indoors on a solid surface (e.g. changing meters under voltage, cashier work, working on indoor cable distributors). The galoshes serve as an equivalent replacement for site insulation up to 1000 V AC / 1500 V DC, quick attachment to normal footwear using 2 Velcro fasteners in the forefoot and a plug fastener in the heel area, type-tested in accordance with DIN EN 50 321. Use in damp conditions, on ladders and when working outdoors, especially in cable trenches, is not permitted, nor when working where a ground fault with other parts of the body cannot be ruled out (e.g. kneeling work).
