The "C" series current clamp, model C173, is a highly precise and versatile tool for measuring AC currents ranging from very low to medium levels. With four selectable measurement ranges and conversion ratios (1 A/1 V, 10 A/1 V, 100 A/1 V, and 1000 A/1 V), the C173 offers flexibility and accuracy, making it ideal for use in industrial and office environments.

The uniform coil winding and round jaw design ensure minimal phase shift and high measurement accuracy. Its innovative design, featuring a pendulum joint system and a patented support system for progressive jaw opening, makes handling straightforward and efficient.

With a clamping diameter of 52 mm, the C173 can perform measurements in CAT III 600 V installations. When used with a multimeter featuring an mVAC range, this clamp enables highly accurate leakage and fault current measurements in the mA range, making it perfect for precise diagnostics.
