The DTR® 8510 is a portable, digital turn ratio tester specifically designed for testing power, voltage, and current transformers. The device accurately determines the turn ratio between the primary and secondary windings, winding polarity, and excitation current. It provides a direct display of results, including the percentage deviation from nominal values, and complies with IEEE standards.

An innovative testing method prevents the generation of dangerously high test voltages, ensuring operator safety. The device is highly autonomous, allowing up to 10 hours of continuous operation, and comes with a fast charger that fully recharges the battery in less than 4 hours. Additionally, the DTR 8510 features automatic self-calibration and multiple control functions that check connections, windings, and circuits while issuing warnings for issues such as polarity errors or short circuits.

Stored measurement data can be transferred to a PC via the included DataView software, which allows for analysis and the creation of test reports. The DTR 8510 is robust, portable, and ideal for field applications.
