With an enclosure diameter of 52 mm, the C173 is ideal for industrial and office building applications, allowing measurements up to CAT III 600 V. The round shape of the clamp jaws and uniform coil winding ensure high accuracy and minimal phase shift.

The C173 offers four different measurement ranges to capture currents from 1 mA to 1200 A. Conversion ratios range from 1 A/1 V to 1000 A/1 V, with typical accuracies from ≤ 0.7% to ≤ 0.2%. This versatility allows for precise detection of leakage and fault currents in the mA range, especially when used with a multimeter featuring an mVAC range and high resolution. The output is provided via a cable with 4 mm insulated plugs, ensuring a secure and reliable connection.
