The Cambrionix ThunderSync3-16 (TS3-16) is designed to enable high-speed data transfers to USB3 compatible devices without being restricted by endpoint boundaries. Using an upstream ThunderboltTM 3 interface, the TS3-16 is capable of to deliver up to 5 Gbit/s on all 16 ports. Thanks to its ThunderboltTM interface, the TS3-16 is able to bypass the endpoint limitation typically observed when trying to enumerate more than 15 USB3.2 devices and charge and sync up to 96 devices from a single computer , without reaching the endpoint limit.The TS3-16 delivers 12 watts of charging power to each of its 16 ports, allowing mobile devices to be charged safely and reliably at the manufacturer's recommended optimal rate (up to 2.4 A per port). The two ThunderboltTM 3 ports on the back deliver 15 watts each. When a local (host) computer is connected, the host can control the operation of each individual port using software provided by Cambrionix. Device charging and synchronization can be carried out via Cambrionix LiveViewer app, application programming interface (API), or command line interface (CLI). The TS3-16 firmware can also be updated to add new charging profiles and ensure the TS3-16 can charge the latest devices.
