Innovative solution for intelligent hand soldering and soldering fume extraction
With the i-CON 1 C MK2, ERSA has developed a soldering station that meets the requirements of higher working temperatures and the increasingly smaller process windows of lead-free soldering processes. The (optional) soldering fume extraction EA 110 plus i or EA 55 i is switched off via the integrated interface 3 seconds after the i-TOOL MK2 goes into standby mode. The extremely small, light, ergonomic and powerful i-TOOL MK2 soldering iron makes a significant contribution to improved quality, productivity and a huge reduction in operating costs. The i-CON 1 MK2 is of course antistatic.

· i-TOOL MK2 soldering iron with 150 W micro high-performance heating element
· Soldering station with interface that switches off the (optional) soldering fume extraction EA 110 plus i 3 seconds after the i-TOOL MK2 goes into standby mode.
· Automatic standby sensor in the i-TOOL MK2 soldering iron detects the rest phase and lowers the temperature to the preselected standby temperature after the preselected standby time.
· User-friendly 'one-touch' operation of the software with online help and simple menu navigation using i-Op menu selection. Large multifunctional display.
· The calibration data of the i-TOOL MK2 is stored on the circuit board in the handle of the soldering iron. Thanks to the calibration independent of the control station, all i-TOOL MK2 can be calibrated centrally.
· There are three energy output levels to choose from, which regulate the heating element depending on the heat required. In the highest setting, the system delivers the maximum output of 150 W; in the lower setting, the output is strictly regulated and no overshoot is permitted.
· The process window visually informs the operator if the temperature leaves the preselected temperature process window.
· With the i-Set TOOL option, additional soldering stations from the i-CON MK2 series can be automatically configured and locked. The station settings can be downloaded from an i-CON MK2 to the i-Set TOOL quickly and easily - like with a USB stick - and transferred to another station within 5 seconds.
The station consists of an electronics station, an i-TOOL MK2 soldering iron with a chisel-shaped ERSADUR permanent soldering tip and a storage stand with a drying sponge made of metal wool.
