Pro-Switching System, SM260 Series, Controller Cards

The Pro-Switching System SM260 Series controller cards provide a versatile solution for managing and controlling networks and critical connections. Monitor and control individual cards, the entire rack, or daisy-chained systems directly via RS-232 or Ethernet for optimized and reliable network connectivity.

Features:

Remote Ethernet Access: SNMP, Telnet, or Web browser provide switching control of individual cards, racks, and group switching over the network.
Front Panel Control: Switch individual cards or the entire system using buttons directly on the rack.
External Switching: SM262A supports group switching via an external +12 VDC signal or remote contact switches.
Key Lock Security: A key lock on the rack enables manual switching activation or deactivation.
RS-232 Communication: Communication through group input and output ports for controlling individual cards and the entire system.
SNMP Extension: Only one SNMP controller card is permitted per daisy-chained system, allowing full control through the first controller card.

The Pro-Switching System’s smart design allows for easy and flexible operation. With the SM262A, the chassis can be controlled from anywhere via RS-232 or IP connection. For daisy-chained systems, use the SNMP extension card (SM264A) to manage the entire system through hardware control and RS-232 messaging.
