With a range of interface options, including Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre (Single and Multimode), ATM, and many others, the FlexPoint system covers almost all conversion needs and even supports legacy media such as ThinNet and 10BASE-FL.

With a 14-slot rack-mount chassis or a 5-slot wall-mount option, FlexPoint offers modular flexibility. The hot-swappable function of converter modules minimizes network downtime during maintenance or replacement. The chassis is available with single or dual power supplies (AC/DC) and supports combining various media converters for simultaneous use.

• 10BASE-T to BNC: Connects 10BASE-T and ThinNet devices up to 185 m.
• 10BASE-FL to BNC: Connects ThinNet segments via fiber up to 2 km.
• 100BASE-TX to 100BASE-FX and -LX: Conversion for Fast Ethernet with ranges up to 110 km.
• 1000BASE-T to 1000BASE-SX and -X: Gigabit speeds with ranges up to 65 km.
• 10/100 Rate Converter: Layer 2 switching with support for up to 1024 MAC addresses and ranges up to 100 km.
• ATM OC-3 and OC-12 Mode Converters: Extends ATM connections for regional and national telecom systems.
