1000BASE-SX to 1000BASE-LX Converter
The 1000BASE-SX to 1000BASE-LX Converter LMCU600 facilitates cost-effective media conversion from 1000BASE-SX to 1000BASE-LX for Gigabit Ethernet networks. This converter enables wavelength conversion from 850 nm to 1300 nm and supports both multimode and single-mode fiber for extended range and high bandwidth requirements.
The LMCU600 offers affordable 1000BASE-SX signal conversion via 50/125 µm or 62.5/125 µm multimode fiber, with a maximum range of 550 m, or up to 10 km using single-mode 9/125 µm fiber with 1000BASE-LX. This rate-agnostic converter automatically adapts between multimode and single-mode fiber at speeds up to 1.25 Gbps, enabling a zero-touch plug-and-play installation. LED diagnostic indicators provide clear connection visibility.
For flexibility, the LMCU600 is equipped with standard duplex SC fiber transceivers, with optional ST and FC/PC connectors available. It includes an integral power supply, with options for AC and DC, and may be rack-mounted as a dual unit or in a 19-inch rack system that accommodates up to 18 units.
