XS 10-100 Media Converter

These XS 10/100 Mbps media converters are ultra-compact, designed to seamlessly convert 10/100BASE-T signals to 100BASE-FX. Ideal for extending the connection distance between two Fast Ethernet TP devices, they ensure reliable, lossless transmission over fiber cable, making them a preferred choice for long-distance connections.

The XS converter model is based on a switching hub design, featuring auto-negotiation and flow control capabilities on the TP port. It supports various fiber connector types: SC and ST for multimode, as well as SC for single-mode cables. With clear LED indicators, the device provides a quick overview of link status at all times.

These converters can be used as standalone devices or, if preferred, installed via an optional DIN rail or wall mount (mounts sold separately). Alternatively, the converter can be integrated into a 16-slot rack chassis, which can also accommodate a redundant power supply for added stability. Supporting data transfer rates of 10 and 100 Mbps, the converter enables smooth data transmission over various distances and media types.
