The XS Media Converters are specifically designed to bridge a 10/100BASE-T signal to a 100BASE-FX signal. Use them to extend the connection distance between two Fast Ethernet twisted-pair devices via fiber cable, maintaining performance without degradation.

This converter series is based on a switching hub design, supporting autonegotiation and flow control on the twisted-pair port. Available fiber connector options include SC and ST for multimode or SC for single-mode cables.

XS Media Converters feature an aesthetically pleasing design and informative LEDs that display the status of your link. Use the XS Media Converters right out of the box as a standalone device or add a wall or DIN rail mounting kit (sold separately) or a 16-slot rack chassis for added reliability. For enhanced stability, a redundant power supply can be added to the 16-slot rack chassis.
