Product Description:

The Micro Mini Media Converter 1000FX is the ideal solution for extending Gigabit fiber networks to the desktop or for mobile applications where lightweight, compact dimensions, and low power needs are essential. With its USB power option, it enables fiber connectivity in locations without access to power outlets – perfect for field-service fiber-to-laptop applications. This compact converter is easy to transport, weighing only 70 grams and small enough to fit in a bag or laptop case.

This plug-and-play converter features an RJ-45 port with auto-negotiation for speed, duplex mode, and crossover detection for Ethernet connections at 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T. The fiber side supports ST or SC connectors for singlemode or multimode fiber cables. Model LMC4000AE uses SFP modules, compatible with various Gigabit Ethernet fiber types, including Black Box 1250-Mbps SFPs (LFP411, LFP412, LFP413, LFP414) or any standard 1250-Mbps SFPs.

The USB-powered Micro Mini Media Converter is the ideal fiber solution for areas without available power outlets. It powers down automatically when connected to a computer’s USB port that shuts off, conserving energy.
