The media converter features a RJ45 Port supporting speeds from 10 to 1000 Mbps. Through the SFP slot a variety of fibre topologies can be connected or easily adapted if your needs change. You can convert copper to Gigabit multimode or to single strand fibre (WDM) with our bi-directional SFPs.
The converter also enables you to use special SFPs to connect 100Mbps fibre with Gigabit copper. Call our Free Tech support for the corresponding 100Mbps SFPs for multimode or single mode fibre.

Like all MFP converters, the LMC1017AE can be used as a standalone converter, in a 5 or 14 slot chassis for 19 rack use, for DIN rail mounting or wall mounting.
