The LGH1000 series provides a hardened Ethernet switch for extreme and industrial applications. Equipped with four 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 ports and a Gigabit SFP slot, this switch is ideal for use in harsh environments, including factories, military vehicles, oil and gas fields, and HVAC and surveillance systems. Featuring a durable IP31 metal housing and a temperature range from -40° to +70°C, the switch is designed to withstand even the toughest conditions and can be mounted on walls or DIN rails for flexible installation.

The SFP port allows the switch to support either single-mode or multi-mode fiber connections, extending network reach up to 30 kilometers. This makes it especially suitable for remote applications requiring network stability and extended reach. Black Box recommends the following SFP modules: LFP411, LFP412, LFP413, LFP414, and LFP416.

For maximum reliability, the switch has dual DC inputs that enable automatic switchover to a second power source should one source fail. An integrated smart alarm alerts users in case of power or port failures, ensuring rapid troubleshooting. Plug-and-play setup is simplified by the automatic detection of speed and cable settings.
