Superior Video Quality:

Thanks to digital signal transmission without quality loss, images are as sharp as if connected directly to the workstation. Enhanced video compression algorithms support 24-bit color depth for smooth gradients at resolutions up to 4K @ 60 Hz over the full distance. Integrated digital DisplayPort audio is also supported, with PCM audio at sample rates up to 96 Hz via the DisplayPort interface.

Distances:

These extender kits transmit signals up to 1,000 meters with a multimode OM3 cable or 400 meters with an OM2 cable. With singlemode fiber, high-resolution video signals can be transmitted up to 5 km. Copper cable options are also available, transmitting signals over CATx cables up to 140 meters.

USB-HID:

Each extender includes two USB-HID ports for keyboard and mouse or similar devices. True USB emulation supports a range of USB keyboards and mice with full advanced functionality.

Transparent USB 2.0, RS232/V.24, and Audio:
The AMS9205A model supports two transparent USB 2.0 ports, allowing connection of any type of USB 2.0 devices. USB signals are embedded in the video stream without needing additional cable connections. The AMS9205A model also transmits serial and audio signals along with video. Analog audio support enables alarm signals or CD-quality music transmission, while bidirectional audio allows microphone input for signals to be sent back to the workstation.

Redundant Power Option:

The DKM-DisplayPort-4K60 extender kit includes one power supply, but the chassis is designed for dual power supplies to enable redundant power. For critical applications, order a second power supply.

Mounting Options for 19-Inch Rack and DIN Rail:

These extenders can be mounted in a 19-inch rack or on a DIN rail. Mounting kits are available separately.

Integration with DKM Switching and Extender System:

The DKM-DisplayPort-4K60 kit is part of the modular DKM extender series, delivered in pre-assembled configurations with two modular chassis and the appropriate sender and receiver interface cards. It is ideal for use with DKM FX and FXC switches for switching video and peripheral signals in a scalable matrix.
