Superior Video Quality:

Thanks to digital signal transmission without quality loss, images are as sharp as if connected directly to the workstation. Enhanced video compression algorithms support 24-bit color depth for smooth gradients at resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 over the full distance.

Distances:

These extender kits transmit signals up to 1,000 meters via a single multimode OM3 cable or 400 meters with an OM2 cable. With singlemode fiber, high-resolution video signals can be transmitted up to 10 km. There are also copper cable options that use CATx connections for distances up to 140 m.

USB-HID:

Each extender includes two USB-HID ports for keyboard and mouse or other HID devices. True USB emulation supports all advanced keyboard and mouse functions.

Transparent USB 2.0:

Models AMS9201A and AMS9203A include two additional USB 2.0 ports, supporting a variety of USB 2.0 peripherals. USB 2.0 signals are embedded in the video stream at speeds up to 36 Mbps, without requiring an additional cable connection.

Options with RS232/V.24 and Bidirectional Analog Audio:
All models transmit serial and audio signals along with the video. The analog audio support allows for transmission of alarms or music in CD quality. Bidirectional audio support enables connection of a microphone to send audio back to the workstation. Models with digital audio offer even better sound quality.

Multiple DVI-D Video Heads:

DVI-D KVM extenders are available with one (single-head) or two (dual-head) video outputs. The dual-video model is ideal for multi-video applications, saving time and cost.

Local Monitoring:

With the optional DKM video splitter cable (ACXSPL12), you can connect a local DVI-D display. A local keyboard and mouse are only needed if the operating system supports multiple keyboards and mice.

Mounting Options:

These extenders are suitable for mounting in a 19-inch rack or on a DIN rail. Mounting kits are available separately.

Integration with DKM Switching & Extension System:
DKM DVI extender kits are part of the modular DKM extender series. They come pre-assembled, consisting of two modular chassis with 2 or 4 slots and the corresponding sender and receiver interface cards. Ideal for use with DKM FX and FXC systems.
