Add eight input/output ports to one slot in your KVM FX switch chassis. The ServSwitch DKM FX I/O module installs into the DKM FX switch chassis and provides 8 input/output ports. Choose between CATx, fiber, or flexible SFP connections. LEDs indicate the module's operational status and each port's connection status. With enhanced memory and speed, firmware upgrades are more efficient. The module is installed in DKM FX HD Video and Peripheral Matrix switch chassis for CATx input/output ports and includes eight SFP transceiver ports with duplex LC connectors. It can cascade multiple DKM FX chassis, reducing cabling costs and complexity. The warranty is 2 years Double Diamond™ (standard).

About I/O Modules:
Use the ServSwitch™ DKM FX I/O modules to integrate user and computer connections into your matrix KVM system. The ServSwitch DKM FX matrix KVM switch allows configurable HD-KVM switching and DVI routing. The modules offer flexible mixing of fiber, CATx, and SDI ports through cards and SFPs that can be inserted into the slots. Available options include:

• CATx I/O Module (ACXIO8-C) with 8 CATx RJ45 ports
• Fiber I/O Module (ACXI08-SM) and High-Speed Fiber I/O Module (ACXIO8-HS) with 8 SFP transceiver ports (duplex LC)

Switch Design:

First, choose a chassis based on the number of users and computers you wish to control. Consider future expansion needs. Next, select the required I/O modules depending on your cable media and the distances between users and computers from the switch location. If using empty or SDI I/O modules, be sure to order the appropriate SFPs. Finally, select an extender transmitter unit for each computer and an extender receiver unit for each user. DKM extenders support various interfaces including DVI-D, VGA, USB HID, USB 2.0, and RS-232.
