The modular DKM extenders offer flexible combinations of video and peripheral signals, allowing customization for any KVM application. Choose base modules with DVI-D, DVI-I, HDMI, or DisplayPort and (2) USB ports for keyboard/mouse. They support CATx or fiber connections with distances up to 140m (CATx), 1000m (Multimode), or 10km (Singlemode).

With pixel-perfect resolutions, the system delivers sharp images up to 2048 x 1152 (Single Link DVI), 2560 x 1600 (Dual Link DVI), HDMI up to 1080p, or DisplayPort up to 4K across the full distance. The high-speed 2.5 Gbps option is designed for demanding graphics applications. These extenders can be used in point-to-point connections or in DKM FX/FXC matrix systems.

The DKM extenders allow for combining various interface modules, including transparent USB 2.0 ports (480 Mbps) for high-demand USB devices such as Wacom tablets. Additional converter modules enable the integration of analog video sources, including SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI.

By digitally transmitting video signals without quality loss, the DKM extenders ensure perfect picture quality. Supported resolutions range from 2048 x 1152 (Single Link DVI) to 4K (DisplayPort), with 24-bit color depth and smooth gradients.

The modular DKM extender enclosures are available as desktop versions with 2, 4, or 6 slots and as a 48,3 cm ( 19 inch ) version with 21 slots. For critical applications, enclosures with redundant power supplies and AC/DC power options can be used. FXC switching modules can integrate up to eight CATx or fiber ports.
