The modular DKM KVM extenders offer the widest range of combinations for video and peripheral signals, allowing you to configure the perfect KVM extender for even the most specific applications.

Base Modules:

These modules provide one or two video ports and two USB HID connections for keyboard and mouse. They also offer CATx or LC fiber connections to the remote end or a central KVM switch. Each modular DKM Extender chassis must include at least one base module.

Connection Types:

Choose between CATx, fiber with 1 Gbps, or high-speed fiber with 2.5 Gbps, depending on the required distance and video bandwidth. CATx connections are suitable for distances up to 140m. Fiber modules support multimode fiber up to 1 km and singlemode fiber up to 10 km. High-speed modules offer double the bandwidth for graphic-intensive applications.

Video Formats:

Base modules are available in various formats, including Single Link DVI-D, DVI-I with VGA input and DVI-D output, Dual Head DVI-D, HDMI, and DisplayPort, all with two USB HID ports for keyboard and mouse.

Special Features:

Advanced modules offer additional functions like redundant links or integrated 2-port switches, allowing both remote and local consoles to connect. USB 2.0 modules with 480 Mbps are available for specific applications like Wacom tablets.

Resolutions:

With digital transmission and no quality loss, pixel-perfect resolutions up to 2048 x 1152 (Single Link DVI), 2560 x 1600/2x2K (Dual Link DVI), 1080p (HDMI), and 4K (DisplayPort) can be achieved.
