Modular DKM Extender Upgrade Modules::
The modular DKM KVM extenders offer the widest range of combinations for video and peripheral signals, allowing you to configure the perfect KVM extender for even the most specific applications.
The modular DKM KVM extenders consist of enclosures with 2, 4, 6, or 21 slots, base modules with video and two USB HID interfaces, and upgrade modules for additional peripheral connections. Special converter modules convert analog to digital, enabling support for various analog video sources. For space-saving installations, an 8-port switching module is available, offering the same functionality as DKM FXC switches.
Upgrade Modules::Upgrade modules transmit signals through the base cards, so they don’t need a direct cable connection to the other side, saving on infrastructure costs and space. You can choose from a wide range of interfaces, including USB HID, PS/2, embedded USB 2.0 with 36 Mbps, serial RS-232 or RS-422 data, bidirectional analog audio, and uni- or bidirectional digital audio. These modules can be combined with base modules in any configuration within the same enclosure.
