The Black Box Agility DisplayPort KVM extenders deliver high-performance, real-time desktop experiences over a single fiber connection, enabling secure, remote access to critical computing hardware. Ideal for environments where user workstations must be separated from back-end systems, these extenders transmit dual-monitor DisplayPort video, USB, and audio with pixel-perfect clarity at resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz or 2x 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz.

Designed for plug-and-play operation, no drivers or software installation is required. The IP-based architecture allows signal transmission over long distances—up to 1640 feet (500 m) with multimode or 12 miles (20 km) with singlemode fiber via an SFP module. This makes the solution perfect for enterprise, control room, and industrial environments.

In addition to crisp video, the system supports bi-directional USB audio and full USB 2.0 peripheral connectivity, including keyboards, mice, touchscreens, and mass storage devices. USB-HID connectivity can be disabled for security-sensitive installations. The extender supports dithered video, making it fully compatible with Mac Pro systems. The integrated “Magic Eye” feature compensates for dithering without compromising performance.

Redundant network operation is supported—if the primary connection fails, the unit automatically switches to the backup port. For enhanced usability, the system also offers dual touchscreen support, with on-screen keyboard and floating launcher tools.
