The iPATH Controller is a powerful management appliance for building and maintaining an IP-based KVM switching and extension network with Agility devices. By linking multiple Agility extenders over a standard LAN, the controller enables flexible combinations of crosspoint switching and point-to-point connections. The iPATH management system centralizes control of transmitters, receivers, users, passwords, and access rights across a single IP infrastructure—ideal for scalable, distributed KVM systems.

When combined with Agility transmitters and receivers, iPATH allows multiple users to access centralized host computers securely and concurrently. Configuration and administration are handled via an intuitive, browser-based interface, enabling management of thousands of users and devices with ease.

The system supports pixel-perfect HD video, audio, USB, and serial signals using standard Ethernet protocols—no proprietary switching hardware is required. This makes installation simple and expansion straightforward.

iPATH functions as a preconfigured, compact server with its own DHCP capability. It’s plug-and-play ready—just connect power and network. All configuration tasks for channels, devices, and users are completed via a browser-connected computer.

Each channel acts as a virtual transmitter, allowing flexible assignment of video, USB, and audio from separate sources—or different access rights to the same system. Group-based management (User Groups, Channel Groups, Receiver Groups) simplifies large system administration. Active Directory integration ensures user credentials and rights are automatically synced from existing LDAP systems.

Administrators can add, edit, and remove users, set access policies, and assign hotkey sequences for login. Active session views and control features are also available.
