The Central Power Hub (CPH) from Black Box is a compact, high-efficiency solution for powering up to eight or sixteen 5VDC or 12VDC devices in a 1U rack chassis. Perfect for professional IT and AV installations, this hub offers scalable, centralized power distribution with the option for full redundancy through a secondary hot-swappable power supply module.

Each 3-pin DC output is lockable to prevent accidental disconnections and supplies up to 30 watts at 12VDC, conforming to Limited Power Service (LPS) as per IEC 60950-1. The system intelligently powers up by checking module validity and enabling outputs sequentially to prevent overload at startup.

Remote monitoring and control are enabled via a web interface, where you can view temperature, fan speeds, and current draw, as well as manage each output individually. With 92% efficiency, high MTBF, and robust safety protections, the CPH is built to deliver steady power in demanding environments, whether for KVM extenders or other rack-mounted equipment.
