Description:
The VGA Video Splitter allows you to easily distribute the video signal from a single PC to multiple monitors. This device is ideal for use in demonstrations, classrooms, or even factories where the CPU can be placed in a separate room while the screens on the factory floor display the needed information. One splitter can transmit the video signal from the CPU to up to four monitors at a distance of 75 meters. By cascading multiple splitters, you can connect as many monitors as necessary.
The 300 MHz bandwidth ensures sharp and clear images, regardless of the resolution—whether VGA, SVGA, or XGA®. Setup is simple: Connect the monitor cables to the splitter, flip a few DIP switches, and you’re ready to project your PC’s display onto multiple monitors.
Typical applications:
The uses for a VGA Video Splitter are virtually limitless, but some applications are especially popular:
- On factory floors, where it’s unsafe for CPUs but workers need information. With a splitter, you can distribute data to workstations while keeping CPUs safely in a separate room.
- In brokerage firms, stock exchanges, and trading offices—a splitter allows real-time stock information to be displayed on multiple monitors while another splitter shows up-to-the-minute business news on other screens.
- Anywhere CCTV monitoring is required—splitters are ideal for CCTV surveillance in corporate buildings, department stores, hotels, entertainment venues, and stadiums.
- Education and training—a splitter enables you to get more out of video applications in classrooms or during business presentations and training sessions.
- Industry shows—create engaging video walls or kiosks by connecting multiple VGA monitors with a splitter.
- Digital signage—use VGA monitors to create video signage that enhances internal and external communications.
