As a successor product to the GSM Gateway, the VoLTE SBC Gateway acts as a full replacement and is also completely backwards compatible. 2G (GSM) and 3G (UMTS) connections are still supported. In addition, the VoLTE SBC Gateway is characterized by better voice quality and faster call setup within the 4G network.
The beroNet VoLTE SBC Gateway has up to 6 LTE ports to connect SIP with VoLTE, and supports voice with up to 6 simultaneous calls and SMS messages. Hybrid models allow additional ISDN or analog ports to connect additional devices or external lines. It is an ideal solution for least cost routing and voice failover over LTE. With two network interfaces, beroNet VoIP SBCs are a security solution for VoIP networks and can be easily and securely controlled remotely via the beroNet Cloud.
