They detect the presence of metallic, electrically conductive objects in their measuring field without contact. The robust, UL-certified sensors can be used in a variety of industrial applications, e.g. in speed applications or for position determination. Additional configurations such as teaching the switching distance and changing the switching function can be implemented via IO-Link.
