Suitable for high demands in industrial applications. Existing mounting holes offer the option of screwing the foot switches to the surface. Each foot switch is equipped with four rubber feet to prevent slipping. In the case of multi-pedal foot switches, bars prevent several pedals from being accidentally operated at the same time (versions without bars on request). The foot levers are made of thermoplastic. An accident protection cover made of die-cast aluminum completely shields the pedal from above and from the sides and, with its wide extension, ensures high stability. Accidental operation by falling objects from above or by carelessness from the side is thus prevented. Due to its stability, the cover can withstand a drop weight of 20 kg from a height of 1 m. Foot switches are often used as so-called 'command devices with automatic reset' or 'touch buttons' for short to put a machine into operation. Foot switches with an enabling function are ideal for this, as they meet very high safety requirements with the integrated, approved enabling switch insert. The contact design and switching function of these switches are identical to those of the enabling foot switches. The pedal position can be detected dynamically with the signaling contact or statically with the additional circuit board. The foot switch with enabling function is available with and without a latching mechanism and with an accident protection cover.
