Each foot switch is equipped with four rubber feet to prevent slipping. The foot lever is made of thermoplastic. An accident protection cover made of die-cast aluminum completely shields the pedal from above and from the sides and, with its wide extension, ensures high stability. Accidental actuation by falling objects from above or carelessness from the side is thus prevented. Due to its stability, the cover can withstand a drop weight of 20 kg from a height of 1 m. In the case of foot switches with a bistable switching function, the switching position is retained after the first actuation even after the pedal is released. After a further actuation, the contacts are reset.
