The EtherCAT Box EP3204 with analog inputs allows resistance sensors to be connected directly. The circuitry of the module can operate sensors using 2, 3 and 4-wire connection technology. The linearization over the entire temperature range is implemented by a microprocessor. The temperature range can be freely selected. The module can also be used for pure resistance measurement; the output is then provided directly in ohms. The standard setting of the module is: Resolution 0.1 °C in the temperature range of the PT100 sensors in 2-wire connection technology. Sensor malfunctions, such as B. wire breakage, are displayed via error LEDs. The assembly has a wide range of features, with the default values chosen so that configuration is usually not necessary. The input filters and the associated conversion times can be adjusted within a wide range, and several data output formats are available. The scaling of the inputs can be changed if necessary; automatic limit value monitoring is also available. Parameterization is done via EtherCAT. Sales unit: 1 ST.
