The EtherCAT Box EP2338 has eight digital channels, each of which can be operated either as inputs or outputs. A configuration as to whether a channel should be used as an input or output is not required; the input circuit is internally permanently connected to the output driver, so that a set output is automatically displayed in the input process image.
The outputs process load currents up to 0.5 A and are short-circuit proof and protected against reverse polarity. The inputs have a filter constant of 10 µs (EP2338-000x).
The signal status is displayed via LEDs. The signals can be connected via M8 connectors. Sales unit: 1 piece.
