The VS1828KIT is a kit with 1 splitter and 8 receivers that distributes an HDMI source with up to 4K @ 30 Hz (4:4:4) to 8 screens up to 40 metres away via a single Cat 6 cable.
The system also supports lossless digital audio formats such as LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus & DTS-HD Master Audio.
As the receivers are powered via the splitter thanks to Power over Cable (PoC) functionality, only a single power supply is required for the splitter, which also helps to avoid cluttered cable installation.
The splitter has a local HDMI output for monitoring content or for cascading.
In addition, the splitter features a user-configurable EDID switch that allows the user to configure the output video resolutions and audio capabilities for seamless integration into the system.
The receiver's ultra-lightweight, palm-sized enclosure allows for flexible installation, including mounting and placement in tight spaces.
The kit includes 1 IR blaster cable for the splitter and 8 IR receiver cables for the receivers, allowing users to remotely control the source from the receiver side.
Plug and play operation eliminates the need for software, enabling easy and immediate installation.
