As a new addition to the ATEN Room Booking System (RBS) portfolio, the VR610 RBS infoPlayer works with the RBS Configurator, the central configuration tool, and the VK430, the RBS panels, to display the occupancy status of meeting rooms in real time and important news/announcements from the organisation in an overview. Room availability can be displayed in the list view, which shows reservation details in a clear list format, or in the map view, which visualises the location of each room to allow users to navigate quickly through the rooms.
With the VR610, enhancing brand identity is a breeze. Administrators can customise and manage the content displayed on the screen, including logos, text, images, videos and layouts, either via the RBS configurator or remotely via the VR610's HDMI input signals. USB peripherals can be connected via the integrated USB-C and USB Type-A ports, offering touchscreen functionality so users can check the status of each room in detail and make reservations instantly with a swipe or tap.
The two CPUs contained in the VR610 make it powerful enough to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, such as communicating with the RBS configurator and the RBS panels to which it is connected, displaying room booking status in real time and distributing multimedia sources simultaneously. The VR610 also supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), which means that the device receives power and data via an Ethernet cable, reducing costs and cabling. In addition, the removable bracket supplied with the VR610 ensures flexible mounting on the back of a monitor. The HDMI output supports crystal-clear resolution up to 4K, providing a vivid, clear view of content.
With such a professional yet user-friendly way to maximise space efficiency, deliver information and increase brand awareness, the VR610 RBS infoPlayer is ideal for entrances, lift lobbies or other reception areas in all corporate organisations, educational institutions, conference centres and hospitality venues.
