The KE6900A enables advanced remote access to computer systems via USB consoles (USB keyboard, USB mouse, DVI monitor) over the intranet, allowing users to locate the computer system in secure and temperature-controlled environments that can be isolated from the user's workstation .
The KE6900A DVI-I Single Display KVM over IP Extender supports a DVI display at each end and offers lossless and low latency video transmissions up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz.
The KE6900A supports connections via an RJ-45 port or an SFP slot. The transmitter and receiver can be connected either directly or via a high-speed network via a copper-based or fiber-based LAN. By connecting via the SFP slot with 1 Gbps SFP fiber optic module* extensions in the fiber optic network, you can extend the transmission distances up to 10 km. The KE6900A also features dual power supplies for redundancy to ensure reliable services.
As an IP-based matrix extender, the KE6900A can be used as a point-to-point / point-to-multipoint / multipoint-to-point extender or in combination with the KE Matrix Management Software (CCKM) in a KVM over IP matrix system (multipoint -to-multipoint) to enable more flexible applications in different work environments.
By implementing KE Matrix Management Software (CCKM) with the KE6900A, IT administrators can benefit from advanced features such as automatic discovery of all KE6900A devices on the same subnet for quick installation or configuration, authentication and authorization of usernames and passwords, and the ability to define different types of connections that can be switched and shared. Security features provide additional protection with AES-128 bit encryption for secure data transfers, while RADIUS, LDAP, AD or remote user authentication provides an additional level of connection security. In addition, with an OSD, RS-232 support and Auto MDIX, the KE6900A is the most cost-effective and convenient way to get a fully digital extension from any location via the intranet.
