This is basically the case with ARM and MIPS-based systems possible, in contrast to the ALL3000/4000, to operate more than one sensor on one physical port.
The hardware requirement is that the sensors have 2 RJ45 connections so that the sensor signal can be passed on to the next sensor. The total cable length of 100 m does not increase.
In order for the sensors to be clearly identified by the devices, it is necessary that they have different I2C chip addresses and IDs on the software side. Sensors with the same chip address and adjustable
ID can be combined. For sensors without an adjustable address, only 1 sensor type can be connected per port or via the ALL4404 8-fold multiplexing HUB.
