The Allnet ALL3419 is an IP-based control centre for temperature value acquisition in buildings and technical installations. The device serves as a central interface for monitoring and controlling ambient conditions via a computer network. It features a robust metal housing that protects against mechanical damage and allows mounting on walls or ceilings. The compact design enables use even in hard-to-reach locations. The control centre is integrated into the existing IT system via a network (wired or WLAN) and is accessible via an IP address. Measured values can be displayed directly in a web browser on the device, with no additional software required. This makes the ALL3419 compatible with any operating system.
Applications
The ALL3419 is suitable for decentralised temperature monitoring in buildings, server rooms, production halls, or warehouses. It can be used in combination with other control and measurement computers from the ALL3500/3505/4500/ALL5000 series to connect multiple sites over a network. The control centre acquires ambient temperature via an external temperature sensor ALL3008 included in the delivery scope. Additionally, an internal temperature sensor is integrated on the circuit board, displaying the system temperature. Optionally, an ALL3018 temperature and humidity sensor can be used to also monitor air humidity.
Functions and Equipment in Detail
The control centre features three I2C sensor ports, which can be used to connect optional sensors and actuators. A USB 2.0 port enables connection to wireless sensors, for example EnOcean or Plugwise devices. Measurement intervals can be set with second precision, and the last 512 measurement values can be displayed as a trend graph on the device. Data transmission occurs over the network, with the control centre accessible via an IP address. Communication takes place via standard protocols such as HTTP, enabling value display in a web browser.
Technology Explained Simply
The ALL3419 uses an I2C bus system to communicate with connected sensors. Sensors are either connected directly to the control centre or routed via a network cable (RJ45, Cat. 5). The maximum cable length is 100 metres. Data transmission occurs over the network, with the control centre accessible via an IP address. Communication takes place via standard protocols such as HTTP, enabling value display in a web browser.
Compatibility and Accessories
The ALL3419 is compatible with various sensors and actuators, including MSR sensors ALL3008, ALL3016, ALL3018, ALL4406, ALL4420, ALL4429, ALL4454, ALL4471, ALL4432, ALL4425, ALL3036, ALL3037, as well as IO modules ALL4442, ALL4427. Optionally, an ALL4404 8-channel multiplexing hub can be used to increase the number of controllable sensors per control centre up to 24. The control centre supports software modules such as SNMP, POST/GET, EnOcean, and PoE control devices like ALL-PoE-CLK-1 and ALL-PoE-CNT-1.
Mounting and Installation
Installation is carried out by mounting on walls or ceilings using the integrated brackets. Sensors are either connected directly to the control centre or routed via a network cable (RJ45, Cat. 5). The maximum cable length is 100 metres. The network connection is made via Ethernet or WLAN.
Operational Advantages
The ALL3419 enables flexible and cost-effective temperature acquisition via network. Data is directly viewable in a web browser on the device, eliminating the need for additional software. The control centre is suitable for all operating systems and can be combined with various sensors and actuators. Measurement intervals can be set with second precision, and the last 512 measurement values can be displayed as a trend graph. The control centre can be used in combination with other control and measurement computers from the ALL3500/3505/4500/ALL5000 series to connect multiple sites over a network.
