Further information for ALLNET ALL-MC202P-SFP1-PoE
Highlights: 1x 10/100/1000BaseT Ethernet TP port with IEEE802.3at max. 30W PoE 1x 1000BaseSX/LX SFP slot TP port supports half/full duplex, auto-MDI/MDI-X and auto-negotiation SFP slot supports multi or Single Mode SFP (mini Gbic) Modules NEW: LFP-Link Fault Pass Trough NEW: Long Range PoE, downgrade to 10Mbit. Max. range 330m extended temperature range -20° ~ +60° including power supply The ALL-MC202P-SFP1-PoE is an IEEE 802.3at / 802.3af Power over Ethernet injector that provides DC 52V via Ethernet cable. Below inserts DC voltage into Cat.5/5e/6 cable, so that the cable between the injector (ALL-MC202P-SFP1-PoE) and the PoE PD (Powered Device) can transmit data and power at the same time. The maximum distance between the injector (ALL-MC202P-SFP1-PoE) and the PoE PD is 100 meters. The ALL-MC202P-SFP1-PoE combines the digital Ethernet data with power via twisted pair cable as an IEEE 802.3at / 802.3af Power over Ethernet injector. And with the Power over Ethernet splitter it can split the digital data and power supply between two outputs.
The advantages of the ALL-MC202P-SFP1-PoE are cost savings, easy network planning and higher reliability. In addition, when IEEE 802.3at / 802.3af devices are installed, the ALL-MC202P-SFP-PoE
or PD can all connect during migration and the Ethernet digital packets, such as. B. connecting the ALL-MC202P-SFP1-PoE with an IEEE 802.3at / 802.3af compatible device, wireless AP or IP camera.Link Fault Pass Through (LFP) The LFP function includes the Link Fault Pass Through function (LLCF/ LLR) and the DIP switch design. LLCF/LLR can immediately alert administrators of connection media problems and provide an efficient network monitoring solution. The DIP switch
allows you to deactivate or activate the LFP function. LLCF (Link Loss Carry Forward) means when a device is connected to the converter and the TP line loses the link, the converter fiber of the converter will break the connection for transmission. LLR (Link Loss Return) means when a device connected to the converter and the fiber and fiber optic line loses the connection, the fiber of the converter disconnects the transmission. Both can alert administrators immediately
Problem of the connection media and provide an efficient solution for monitoring the network.Link Loss Carry Forward (LLCF) ALL-MC202P-SFP1-PoE has an LLCF function for troubleshooting a long-distance connection. When the LFP function is enabled, the FL/TP ports do not send a connection signal until they receive a connection signal from the opposite port. The diagram below shows a typical network configuration with a good link status using the ALL-MC202P-SFP1-PoE for remote connection.
When the connection is lost, ALL-MC202P-SFP1-PoE forwards the link loss to the switch/hub, which generates a trap to the management station station. The administrator can then determine the source of the problem.Link Loss Return (LLR) The fiber optic ports of the ALL-MC202P-SFP1-PoE are equipped with an LLR function for troubleshooting a long-distance connection. LLR works in conjunction with LLCF. When the LFP function is enabled, the port's transmitter switches off if its receiver does not detect a valid receive connection. LLR should only be enabled on one end of the connection and is typically enabled on either the unmanaged or remote device.
The following diagram shows a typical network configuration with a good connection status using ALL-MC202P-SFP1-PoE for remote connection. Note that LLR and LLCF are enabled as indicated in the diagram.
If one of the fiber optic cables is defective (as in the diagram box below), the converter with LLR function reports a no-link condition to its link partner. If the LLCF feature is also enabled, the no-link condition is forwarded to the switch/hub hub, where a trap is generated to the management station, and the administrator can then determine the source of the loss.
