This brick contains a coil with an inductance of 22µH. An induction voltage of 1V is reached after 22 µs if the change in current flow is 1A. Coils can be used to build resonant circuits and frequency filters. Because coils counteract any change in current flow, they stabilize the circuit. This current-stabilizing property is used to transform voltages.
