Further information for ALLNET ALL-BRICK-0067 -
This brick is a photodiode. Pay particular attention to the polarity here! Photodiodes, like other diodes, only conduct current in the forward direction. However, in order to use them as a light sensor, they must be inserted into a circuit in the reverse direction. In this case they become conductive when exposed to light. The anode must be connected to the negative pole of the voltage source and the cathode to its positive pole.
