The IC Brightness Sensor module was developed for brightness detection for the digitalSTROM system. Using adjustable potentiometers, two brightness values can be reported as threshold values directly to the digitalSTROM system. The module has the properties of the SW-AKM210 technology and thus creates a separate dSID address for both brightness values. The module is plug-in ready and equipped with a Euro plug. The cable routing is designed so that the module can be mounted as a surface-mounted version with the cable routing to the side. The sensor is designed, for example, to detect dusk (delivery status) and to generate two adjustable threshold values from this. This can be used, for example, to switch on the lighting.
