The IC PIR sensor transmits motion messages directly to your digitalSTROM system. This can be used to trigger individual security functions, or the movement can lead to further connections via the APP Scene Responder. The IC PIR sensor consists of the base module and the actual motion sensor. The sensor is installed in a standard 55 frame format (made by Gira) and is galvanically isolated from the 230V network to meet the highest safety requirements (>2 KV). The base module with dimensions d=54mm / h=26mm is installed in the flush-mounted box. The PIR sensor is connected to the spring terminals of the base module via a 175mm ribbon cable. The detection range is 180 degrees. The range is approx. 4 meters (direct approach) and approx. 4 meters for seated people. The use of the latest semiconductor technology guarantees a silent switching process (no click-clack). Poti 1 can be used to set the sensitivity (distance) of the sensor in the PIR sensor part. Poti 2 is used to set the switch-off delay to approx. 5 seconds. The individual extension can be made using Poti 2 and also via the setting in the digitalSTROM configurator (default 1 min.). If the sensor no longer detects movement, this is reported to the dS system with the set switch-off delay.
