The VdS-certified bolt switch contact is used to monitor the locking of doors, gates, safes, etc. The electromechanical contact with a waterproof microswitch is embedded in the door frame and is activated by the lock bolt when the door is closed. The actuating lever can be individually deformed so that contact is made with a wide variety of bolts. By inserting the cylinder pin into the switch lever, it is possible to mount the bolt switch contact to the side of the lock bolt cutout.
