Further information for ABUS FU7300W - Passive glass break detector pot free white
With the passive glass break detector you can monitor a single window pane. The detector is attached directly to the window pane to be secured. The ultrasonic frequencies generated when the glass breaks are detected and reported to the alarm center. The passive glass break detector is mounted at a distance of 20 to 50 mm from the frame of the window pane. Important: The detector should be mounted in such a way that you immediately notice when there is no longer contact with the pane. The cable should not be crushed when opening/closing the window. Mounted in a corner of the window, the passive glass break detector monitors an area of up to 4m². Its maximum monitoring radius is 2 meters. The passive glass break detector works with an integrated piezo element. It reacts to the sound frequency generated when glass breaks. In the event of an alarm, a CMOS relay is opened. The glass break detector is potential-free, which means that a power supply is not necessary. The glass break detector is available in white (FU7300W) and brown (FU7300B).
