These transformers are conditionally short-circuit proof. They are equipped with a thermal protection device that automatically restores power when the transformer has cooled down sufficiently. They are ideal for the continuous power supply of measuring devices, electronic auxiliary devices (e.g. measurement, video door intercom systems, BUS communication) and circuits with extra-low voltage (SELV) for baths and showers, lighting, fountains, electro-medical devices and the like.
